Week Eighteen - Welding~

Our most faithful garden host..
the Tundra Tulip

I took a course in metal sculpture a few years back.
One of the skills we were to learn was welding.
After missing several classes, this was my final project.
Some day I would like to try it again - - and go to all of the classes.....

  1. Well done, I like it. If it were possible I'd come to those classes too, I've never heard of them before but it's something I'd like to try. I've learned soldering for stained glass craft so I guess I might be able to do it.

  2. I was inspired by a gal who had taken the class before and made a cool moose of iron. In this class she made an iris of recycled materials. I still have my collected materials for the next class. This has a spring so the flower sways in the breeze. Stained glass is another craft I would like to learn. I am sure the metal sculpture would come easily to you!
